How Juicing with G Helps You In Getting Started In The Right Foot
As I’m doing my research on juicing I see a lot of blogs that provide very useful information but I can’t seem to find one that guides a newbie step by step on how to get started and I’m here to fill that void!
Here’s the deal:
Juicing is on a comeback trail in terms of popularity, it gained popularity first in the 1990s and what fuelled this resurgence are celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Salma Hayek and Blake Lively endorsing it.
But beware there are SERIOUS health implications if done wrong.
How can you be sure that you’re extracting the maximum benefits of juicing without starving yourself or unwittingly consuming 5 times more sugar than a bottle of Coke?
Instead of going through countless books about juice recipes or wasting $50 a day buying natural juice…
…why not do it on your own.
The best part is I’ll cut through all the fluff to show you the recipes I use and let you know how it tastes. And don’t worry if there are certain ingredients that aren’t available in your area, I’ve got you covered, I’ll be coming up with a juicing substitution list that you can print out and use just in case the ingredient you’re looking for isn’t available in your local market.

Juicing with G is a blog that’s all about juicing looking to educate people on the proper way to juice vegetables and fruits to a more vibrant, healthy and fit lifestyle.
There are 3 main features in Juicing with G. There’s the recipe, how to and review section.
Here’s what each feature is all about:
Juicing with G, The Recipes, is where you’ll find the proven recipes and tips that you can immediately apply to your everyday juicing. I’ll be adding different types of recipes for different health concerns and a list for beginners if you don’t know where to start.
Juicing with G, How Tos, is where you’ll find the most common how to questions like “How to juice with out a juicer?”.
Juicing with G, Reviews, is where I’ll feature the equipment that you’ll need for creating those healthy juices. There are 2 main types of juicers each with a specific purpose and a different price point. I’ll explain in detail how each of this will benefit you and also the negative points.
About Garrick (In Case You Care)
I’m Garrick, and I’m the man behind Juicing with G. I created this site to document the recipes I’ve tried and experimented with to help others who may be in the same boat – getting started juicing!
I’ve actually tried juicing 5 years ago, when my health conscious mom started giving me apple/celery concoctions. I initially liked it because apple was able to mask the bitter flavor of celery but when she started giving me pure celery juice, I started to hate it and would just chug it down as fast as I can. I didn’t really enjoy it.
So I went on my business and continued eating junk food until… one day I was diagnosed with high cholesterol, around 265 mg/dL. That was an eye opener for me. I had to limit my junk food intake but I still hated juicing and had to rely on medication to keep my cholesterol levels in check.
Actually the Crestor medication was good enough to lower my cholesterol level down to 165 mg/dL but at the cost of my liver. My friends would tell me that it’ll bite me back when I get old if I don’t stop taking it. I didn’t listen too much to them.
Five years went by I got married and had a son. I began to have a different perspective and had to watch what I eat for my family’s sake. I was looking for ways to improve my diet and health naturally. It was during that time my mom gave me a juicer to encourage to me to juice and so I did but I didn’t want to just drink celery juice (yuck!) so I had to do some research and document what I was doing so the idea of starting this blog was born.
